Grant Llama was founded by three technology leaders who spent decades running IT, security, and growth at Fortune 500 scale, and asked a simple question: Why don't nonprofits have access to the same advantages?

Nonprofits keep the world running. The tools they get to work with rarely reflect that.
Jonathan, Van, and David have spent their careers building enterprise technology at companies like FleetCor, IBM, First Data, Secureworks, and Sparq. They built the systems, led the teams, managed the P&Ls, and helped develop the AI platforms that are now standard across the private sector.
The nonprofit sector, the one holding communities together, has too often been left with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, hourly freelancers, and best-effort solutions. Innovation reaches everyone else first.
Grant Llama is what happens when three experienced operators decide to change that. They brought enterprise-grade market intelligence, AI-enabled systems, and security to the organizations doing some of the world's most important work.

Jonathan Kilpatrick
Co-Founder, Growth and Partnerships
Fifteen years matching enterprise product teams with the right buyers. Now doing the same for nonprofits and funders.
Jonathan leads Grant Llama's growth, client relationships, and funder partnerships. Before Grant Llama, he spent more than a decade in senior business development roles at Sparq (backed by Harvest Partners and Bain Capital), Syzygy Solutions, Daugherty Business Solutions, Experis, and Accretive Solutions, connecting mid-market and enterprise clients with product strategy, engineering, and digital transformation teams.
He writes and speaks on nonprofit fundraising, grant strategy, and using AI to amplify human purpose rather than replace it.
Van Huff
Co-Founder, Impact Partner
Former CIO at FleetCor. Twenty years at First Data. He knows what it takes to run systems that cannot afford to miss.
Van leads Grant Llama's operating systems and client impact. His career spans more than three decades of IT leadership at scale, including seven years as Chief Information Officer at FleetCor and two decades at First Data, where he served as Senior Vice President of IT. He is also the founder of V61Tech, a strategic technology advisory practice, and a former board member at Efreight Solutions.
At Grant Llama, he brings enterprise operating discipline to a category that has historically run on effort and goodwill.
David Langlands
Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Built early agent-based AI for nonprofits before it was a category. The reason Grant Llama can guarantee output and data safety in the same sentence.
David leads Grant Llama's technology, AI, and platform architecture. He spearheaded autonomous generative AI platforms and early agent-based retrieval systems for nonprofit organizations, and previously held senior leadership roles at IBM Security, where he ran a $600M cloud and infrastructure security business unit, Global Director of the Adversary Group at Secureworks, and Vice President of Security at DXC Technology.
His security background is not incidental. Grant Llama's platform is built in-house, on infrastructure designed to the standards David held at IBM and Secureworks, not stitched together from public tools.

Grant Llama is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and works with established nonprofits across the United States. Our team is remote-first, our founders are local, and our platform runs on infrastructure built and maintained in-house.
